Delete virtual machines

You can delete a virtual machine and its files from the host file system. You do not need to manipulate files in the host file system in order to delete a virtual machine; the process is done through the VMware Player interface. Note that this action is irreversible.

Here are the steps:

1. Power off the virtual machine.

2. Right-click the virtual machine in the library and select the Delete from Disk option:

3. Click Yes:

The virtual machine and all of its files are deleted from the host file system.
