Who runs Geek University

Geek University is a free site of lab notes for systems work: Linux, Python, Cisco networking, Apache, virtualization, and the tools that show up on a real ticket. It is not an accredited university, does not grant degrees, and does not sell courses. Open a lesson and start reading.

The site is written by Adam and operated as Geek University. Mail the lab at support@geek-university.com, or use the contact form. There is no account wall and nothing to buy at checkout.

What you will find here

Each public course URL is meant to stay stable so old bookmarks and search results still land on a page. The notes are original: they teach the same subjects people already look up on this domain, in our own words, with commands you can run on a machine you control. They are study notes, not vendor documentation and not a certification voucher.

Browser tools sit next to the catalog: JSON and CSV utilities, an email-hash list for Google and Meta audiences, and a DKIM key generator. Those run in your tab. Pasted files and generated keys are not uploaded to us.

How the pages are kept

New lessons are added as the catalog grows. Corrections are welcome. If a command, screenshot path, or explanation is wrong, say so on the contact form and include the URL. The mailing list in the footer is optional; it is only for people who ask for new lessons by email.

Advertising on the site, when it is shown, is served by Google AdSense. The privacy policy explains cookies, analytics, and ads. The terms of use cover how you may use the notes.

What this site is not

It is not a school with classrooms, student accounts, or diplomas. It is not a place to buy dumps of exam questions. Security and networking lessons are for administering systems you are allowed to use, not for attacking other people’s machines.
