Terms of use

These terms govern use of Geek University at geek-university.com. The site is operated by Adam. Questions: support@geek-university.com. Last updated 26 August 2026.

The site

Geek University publishes free lab notes and in-browser tools. It is not an accredited university and does not grant degrees, certificates, or exam vouchers. Courses are free; the checkout page exists only because old links still point there.

License to read

You may read the notes for your own study and use the commands on systems you are allowed to administer. You may not scrape the site to republish the lessons as your own, sell copies of the pages, or present Geek University as an official school or vendor.

No professional advice

Lessons are educational. They are not legal, security, or operational advice for a production network. Commands can change a machine. Test on a lab or on equipment you own or are authorized to use. Networking and security topics are for defense and administration, not for attacking systems you do not control.

Tools

JSON, CSV, email-hash, and DKIM tools run in your browser. We do not receive the files you paste. You are responsible for how you use the output (including audience hashes and mail keys).

Accounts and mail

There is no member login on this site. Optional mailing-list and contact forms are described in the privacy policy.

Advertising

The site may display ads from Google AdSense. Ads are provided by Google and are subject to Google’s policies. See privacy for cookies and ads.txt for authorized sellers.

Availability

Pages are provided as-is. We do not promise that a URL, command, or tool will always work, or that the site will be uninterrupted. Public paths are kept stable when we can, but content is updated over time.
