Attendance Terminals

An attendance terminal is the employee-facing device used to submit an attendance event. It is commonly installed near an entrance, exit, reception area, staff access point, or another location where employees can clock conveniently without creating unsafe congestion.

Integration with Physical Access Control

A TA system can be connected with a physical access control system. Both systems may use the same RFID badge or employee credential. For example, a staff badge can open an authorized building door and then be presented at an attendance terminal to submit an arrival event.

Access authorization and attendance recording are related but distinct functions:
