How to use the Meta Custom Audience CSV formatter
- Paste CSV or a list of emails. A header row named email (and phone if you have it) is detected.
- Choose whether to SHA-256. Meta hashed uploads want hashes, not plaintext.
- Download the CSV and upload it in Ads Manager.
Meta columns
The download uses email and phone headers. Emails are lowercased. Phones become digits with a US country code when the row looks like 10 digits. Hashing uses SHA-256 and skips already-hashed hex.

Should I hash?
Yes for hashed custom audiences. Turn hashing off only if you are preparing a plaintext file you will hash later.
Can I include names?
This pass exports email and phone only, which is enough for a match file.
