PHP Programmer completion certificate
This page presents a completion credential for the PHP Programmer course. A certificate is a formal record showing that a learner completed a specified course. It is evidence of successful course completion, not the instructional course material itself.
Certificate details
The issued certificate should identify the learner, the completed course, the completion result, and the organization that issued the credential.
- Certificate student name:
{{certificate_student_name}}identifies the named recipient. - Certificate course:
{{certificate_course}}displays the completed course, such as PHP Programmer. - Completion result: The certificate states that the recipient successfully completed the course.
- Certificate student marks:
{{certificate_student_marks}}displays the learner's recorded marks or score when available. - PDH units:
{{pdh_units}}displays professional-development units awarded or recorded for the course when applicable. - Certificate code:
{{certificate_code}}uniquely identifies the individual credential. - Issuer and date:
{{certificate_issuer}}and{{certificate_issue_date}}identify the issuing educational organization and the applicable issue date or year.
Personalized issued certificate
For each issued credential, the dynamic fields are populated with certificate-specific values. For example, a completed PHP Programmer certificate can show the recipient's name, the PHP Programmer course title, a successful-completion statement, marks, PDH units, a unique certificate code, the issuing organization, and the issue year.
| Displayed field | Dynamic source field | Purpose | Example value type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Student name | certificate_student_name | Names the credential recipient | Person's full name |
| Course name | certificate_course | Identifies the completed course | PHP Programmer |
| PDH units | pdh_units | Shows professional-development units when applicable | Numeric unit value |
| Marks | certificate_student_marks | Shows the learner's recorded result | Score, percentage, or grade |
| Certificate code | certificate_code | Distinguishes one issued credential from another | Unique alphanumeric identifier |
| Issue date or year | certificate_issue_date | Shows when the credential was issued | Date or four-digit year |
| Issuer | certificate_issuer | Names the educational organization responsible for the credential | Organization name |
Certificate identification and verification
The certificate code is a unique identifier associated with an individual certificate. A verifier can use the code, together with the recipient information, to distinguish and confirm that credential. Credential verification is the process of confirming that a certificate and its details are valid.
To verify a certificate, compare the candidate's certificate code with the official record and check that the recipient name, course title, completion result, and issuer details match. Use the certificate verification page when available.

Troubleshooting
Certificate details are blank or field labels remain unresolved
This usually means the certificate record is missing recipient, course, marks, PDH, or code data, or that the issuing system is not populating its dynamic fields. Confirm that the learner has an issued certificate record, then verify that every required field maps to a populated certificate value.
A verifier cannot confirm a certificate
Recheck the certificate code and recipient information. The code may have been entered incorrectly, the credential may not be present in the verification records, or the supplied details may not match the issued certificate. Use the official verification process and contact the issuing organization if the record remains unavailable.
A learner cannot access certificate-related account features
Check the username and password, use the password-reset option when necessary, and confirm that the learner registered or signed in with the correct account. Contact support if the account cannot be identified.
Verification example
- The candidate supplies the certificate code.
- The verifier enters or submits the code through the official verification process.
- The verifier compares the returned recipient name, PHP Programmer course title, completion result, and issuer details with the certificate.
- A matching record confirms the credential; a missing or mismatched record requires rechecking the information or contacting the issuing organization.
