How to use the Open Graph generator
- Fill title, description, page URL, and an absolute image URL.
- Set og:type to website or article.
- Copy the property= tags into the head.
Absolute image URLs
Crawlers that build previews fetch og:image as an https URL. A relative /images/hero.png will not resolve. Recommended image size is at least 1200×630 for large cards. This page does not upload or host the image.
Nothing is uploaded
Tags are built in the tab. Slack, iMessage, and LinkedIn also read Open Graph.
